Week 98: We Baptize Every Day

Alrighty so this Saturday our friend got baptized! First baptism in Lodi for like a year and a half, and my first in a year. So much opposed, but then after the baptismal interview it was smooth sailing from there.

On Sunday and Monday we had to go to the mission office for interviews which was a good time. After our district council on Monday I went to Piacenza with Anziano Winegar and we ran up a little scambio. It was a pretty chill scambio, just some studies and finding.

Today for p day we had a soccer tournament with Milano Ovest. I got stuck in goal for all 8 or 9 games we played but I somehow only got scored on 3 times the entire tournament. So yeah we're now the Milano champs officially, not to flex or anything. I'd like to thank my defense, the fans, and my mom 🏆

President Nelson promised us not too long ago that the greatest manifestations of God's power would come between now and when Christ comes again. This verse tells about the 5 years leading up to the birth of Christ. And by this we see the pattern that the scriptures establish. It's happened in the past, it'll happen again.

Bene, questo sabato un nostro amico si è battezzato! È il primo battesimo a Lodi da un anno e mezzo a questa parte, e il mio primo dopo un anno. Un sacco di difficoltà, ma poi, dopo l'intervista battesimale, tutto è filato liscio come l'olio.

Domenica e lunedì abbiamo dovuto recarci all'ufficio della missione per le interviste, ma è stata una bella esperienza. Dopo il consiglio di distretto lunedì sono andato a Piacenza con Anziano Winegar e abbiamo fatto un piccolo scambio. È stato uno scambio abbastanza tranquillo, solo un po' di studio e di ricerca.

Oggi per il giorno di preparazione abbiamo fatto un torneo di calcio con Milano Ovest. Sono rimasto in porta per tutte le 8 o 9 partite che abbiamo giocato, ma in qualche modo mi hanno segnato solo 3 volte in tutto il torneo. Quindi sì, siamo ufficialmente i campioni di Milano, non per vantarmi o altro. Vorrei ringraziare la mia difesa, i tifosi e mia madre 🏆.

Questo versetto parla dei 5 anni che precedono la nascita di Cristo. E con questo vediamo lo schema che le Scritture stabiliscono. È successo in passato, succederà di nuovo.
