Week 49: "The Lord's just putting up video game numbers"

Ancona is literally Miracle City, stuff has been so crazy down here. I spent all my travel time today driving so I'll make this quick.

We had zone conference on Thursday which was super awesome. I got to debut my brand new suit. Sorry if you don't like it but Sorella Wood (our mission president's wife) loved it. Anyway, I got way hyped for what we're about to accomplish here in Ancona and I'm super glad to be here.

Some miracles:

-Our zone alone found over 100 people this week which was pretty crazy. I think as a mission we found almost 400, which was a record by over 100 people.

-We had half an hour to street contact one day and in that time frame we found four people which never happens

-We had a lesson almost by accident with a new person we found and we were able to teach with a friend who just got baptized this month. He's Croatian but then started whipping out some broken Spanish to bear testimony to our Venezuelan friend and it honestly was the highlight of the week.

The list goes on but those were the big ones. We've also had a lot more small miracles with finding and teaching.

"Who shall say that it was not a miracle that by his word the heaven and the earth should be; and by the power of his word man was created of the dust of the earth; and by the power of his word have miracles been wrought? / And who shall say that Jesus Christ did not do many mighty miracles? And there were many mighty miracles wrought by the hands of the apostles. / And if there were miracles wrought then, why has God ceased to be a God of miracles and yet be an unchangeable Being? Ancona è letteralmente la Città dei Miracoli, le cose sono state così pazzesche qua. Oggi ho trascorso tutto il tempo del viaggio guidando, quindi farò in fretta.

Giovedì c'è stata la conferenza di zona, che è stata fantastica. Ho potuto esibire il mio vestito nuovo di zecca. Mi dispiace se non vi piace, ma a Sorella Wood (la moglie del nostro presidente di missione) è piaciuto molto. In ogni caso, sono molto emozionato per quello che stiamo per fare qui ad Ancona e sono molto contento di essere qui.

Alcuni miracoli:

-La nostra zona da sola ha trovato più di 100 persone questa settimana, il che è stato davvero pazzesco. Penso che come missione ne abbiamo trovate quasi 400, che è un record di oltre 100 persone.

-Un giorno abbiamo avuto mezz'ora di tempo per i contatti di strada e in quel lasso di tempo abbiamo trovato quattro persone, cosa che non succede mai.

-Abbiamo fatto una lezione quasi fortuitamente ad una nuova persona che abbiamo trovato e siamo riusciti a insegnare con un amico che si è appena battezzato questo mese. È croato, ma ha iniziato a tirare fuori un po' di spagnolo stentato per portare testimonianza al nostro amico venezuelano e sinceramente è stato il momento più bello della settimana.

La lista continua, ma questi sono stati i momenti più importanti. Abbiamo avuto anche molti altri piccoli miracoli con la ricerca e l'insegnamento.
