Week 102: Sidequest Central

This has been a very strange week. We tried doing normal missionary work but for the most part got roped into other random tasks like trying to buy a new bike, remodeling the house, translating for hours on end for a church history meeting, waiting for a package in the mail, etc. Also because of some chaos with visas, Anziano Bortone is getting emergency transfered to be companions with none other than Anziano Ferguson, so we're going back to a duo.

"For a small moment have I forsaken thee, but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment, but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the Lord thy Redeemer. For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee." 3 Nephi 22:7-8, 10

I read these verses recently which are quoted in the Book of Mormon from Isaiah. There's a really awesome song based on these versed by Dallyn Vail Bayles which I've always liked.

Reading these versed again reminded me of that song and just how much God will always love us regardless of what happens in our lives or what we do. He's with us and will always support us in our difficulties.

Questa è stata una settimana molto strana. Recentemente ho letto questi versetti che sono citati nel Libro di Mormon da Isaia. C'è una canzone molto bella basata su questi versi di Dallyn Vail Bayles che mi è sempre piaciuta.

Rileggere questi versi mi ha ricordato quella canzone e quanto Dio ci amerà sempre, indipendentemente da ciò che accade nella nostra vita o da ciò che facciamo. Egli è con noi e ci sosterrà sempre nelle nostre difficoltà.
